Xero – Starter Package

Recently, Xero has launched a new Entry level product to their range called Xero Starter. This subscription is aimed at businesses who want to utilise E-invoicing and have only a small number of invoices issued each month (the monthly limit is 5). Typically, service / contract style work invoiced to a small, repeat customer base each month are good candidates for this package. There is no limit to bank transactions for coding and most functions are otherwise kept from the Standard Xero package. The cost is $31+GST per month, or around half the cost of the Standard offering. E-invoicing is the way of the future and one of the most secure, accurate and reliable ways to bill your customers. If the cost of Xero invoicing was prohibitive to you in the past, it may be worth discussing this choice with your usual MDA advisor who can help you decide if this is right for you.
